The Global Week for Action on NCDs (September 7-13, 2020) is an annual campaign, starting in 2020 and continuing until the fourth UN High-Level Meeting on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in 2025, that aims to unite the NCD movement each year under a specific theme, concentrating on combined efforts with the aim of reducing the NCD burden globally and increasing health and equality.

World No Tobacco Day (May 31), is a global day that aims to raise awareness on the harmful effects of tobacco use and second-hand exposure, and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form. WNTD 2020 focuses on protecting youth from tobacco and related industry manipulation and preventing youth from using tobacco and nicotine products.

Over 400 delegates from 85 countries convened at the third Global NCD Alliance Forum 2020 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Among those were many young leaders of NCD Child as well as youth advocates from around the world with one common goal, to put youth participation and young people living with NCDs on the global agenda.
