Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are one of the biggest health and development challenges of the 21st century. NCDs primarily include cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes. Unintentional and intentional injury, mental heath conditions, and the environment also contribute to the growing number of NCDs in young people.
