For this year’s Global Week for Action on NCDs, NCD Child Young Leaders Anita Bulindi, Dr. Apoorva Gomber, Dr. Shakira Choonara, Alex Kwok and Joab Wako are speaking up to share what it means to meaningfully engage young people when it comes to tackling non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and achieving health for all.
This year’s theme of “Engaging communities: People. Participation. Progress” celebrates the power and potential of communities to act together on NCDs and drive change and acknowledge that everyone in society, including young people, play a crucial role in accelerating progress on health.
