Caribbean Youth Mental Health Call to Action

On World Mental Health Day 2022, young people from across the Caribbean have launched the new ‘Caribbean Youth Mental Health Call to Action’ and demanding urgent action from policymakers and leaders from across the Caribbean to transform the region’s mental health systems and to protect the mental health and wellbeing of children and youth in that region.

Led by Healthy Caribbean Coalitions (HCC)’s youth arm – Health Caribbean Youth – the call to action is a reflection of the collaborative effort among regional youth and youth organizations. NCD Child, through its Young Leaders Program, is proud to support this initiative and help take actions needed towards improving the health and wellbeing for young people across the Caribbean region because there is no health without mental health.
